LSG: 70-0 after 9 overs

8.6 Axar to de Kock, 1 run, stays low and gets a thick inside edge on the slog-sweep that races away to the left of deep backward square leg

8.5 Axar to de Kock, no run, looks for a tap-and-run single on the leg-side but the bowler gets around quickly

8.4 Axar to de Kock, FOUR, missed it in the last over, but not this time. Axar fires it full around middle and leg, QDK brings out the reverse sweep and times it past backward point to his left

8.3 Axar to de Kock, 2 runs, full and angled into the pads, QDK whips it along the ground through mid-wicket and calls for two straightaway. Excellent running between the wickets

8.2 Axar to Rahul, 1 run, full and sliding into the pads, wristed away into the vacant spaces at mid-wicket

8.1 Axar to Rahul, no run, quicker and wider of off, Rahul mistimes the drive off the toe-end to cover

LSG: 74-1 after 10 overs

9.6 Kuldeep Yadav to Lewis, 1 run, full and drifting down the leg-side, Lewis gets down on one knee and swipes it to the left of deep backward square

9.5 Kuldeep Yadav to Lewis, no run, full and just outside off, Lewis leans forward and gets a thick outside edge on the push to the left of slip

Evin Lewis, left handed bat, comes to the crease

9.4 Kuldeep Yadav to Rahul, out Caught by Prithvi Shaw at long-off!! There's the first breakthrough. Rahul waltzes down the pitch, looks to loft a maximum straight down the ground, but doesn't get anywhere near the pitch of the delivery. Had to fetch it from far of off-stump and he skewed it off the cue end of the bat, offering catching practice to the fielder running in from long-off. Rahul c Prithvi Shaw b Kuldeep Yadav 24(25) [4s-1 6s-1]

Kuldeep Yadav to Rahul, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

9.3 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, 1 run, drops it short outside off, QDK jumps on the back foot and slashes it to the right of sweeper cover

9.2 Kuldeep Yadav to Rahul, 1 run, touch quicker just outside off, punched crisply to long-off

9.1 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, 1 run, full on off-stump, QDK opens the bat face and pushes it to the right of cover for a quick single

LSG: 79-1 after 11 overs

10.6 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, 1 run, slower and fuller, driven down to long-on

10.5 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, no run, drifting in around off, blocked off the inside half

10.4Lalit Yadav to Lewis, leg byes, 2 runs, DC burn their final review! A desperate one this, because it was the slider and always looked to be going down leg. Lewis missed the sweep and got struck in front of leg stump. But the appeal from all the DC players, including skipper Pant was so vociferous and they perhaps felt it was really close. In the end, it's clearly missing leg stump on ball tracking and they don't have reviews left now

Delhi review after a throat-breaking appeal for LBW. Swann on-air says that they must review it after an appeal like that. Well, Pant opts to at the last moment. Initial feeling is that it might have gone down leg. No bat involved, flat line on Ultra-Edge. It's missing leg stump. Review lost.

10.3 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, no run, tossed up, fullish and straight, Lewis lunges in defence

10.2 Lalit Yadav to de Kock, 1 run, fired into the pitch, leg-lined, de Kock swivels to pull but is rushed on the stroke. Drags it behind square leg

10.1 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, 1 run, on a good length outside off, Lewis punches it through extra cover where there is a fumble in the ring

Lalit Yadav [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

: 86-1 after 12 overs

11.6 Kuldeep Yadav to Lewis, 1 run, tossed up nicely, quite full, an off-balance drive down to long-off

11.5 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, 1 run, flatter and wider, jabbed behind point

11.4 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, FOUR, beautiful shot to get to fifty! Makes room early, gets the right length for the inside out loft and there is no risk as he is hitting this with the spin. Long-off is wider but de Kock gets it even wider to hit the fence. Nice controlled innings so far, hasn't been overly aggressive and will want to bat till the very end

11.3 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, no run, nicely flighted, straighter line, blocked off the front foot to cover

11.2 Kuldeep Yadav to Lewis, 1 run, gentle nudge-and-run stuff towards cover-point from Lewis, slightly tight single but it's done easily as the throw to the striker's end is well wide of Pant

11.1 Kuldeep Yadav to Lewis, no run, spinning leg break, a tad short and Lewis sits back to cut but can only manage a bottom-edge onto the pitch

90-2 after 13 overs

12.6 Lalit Yadav to Hooda, 2 runs, this is street-smart stuff from Hooda! Knows that the bowler is just firing them in on a length and treats it like a slow medium pacer, premeditates the scoop and uses the available pace on offer. Gets it away very fine and it takes Shaw's terrific slide after racing across from fine leg to save the boundary

12.5 Lalit Yadav to Hooda, 2 runs, more of the flatter trajectory from Lalit but this is a touch too short and wide, cut away behind point. Sweeper cover gets around to mop up

12.4 Lalit Yadav to Hooda, no run, pushed through quicker, on a good length, clipped to mid-wicket

Deepak Hooda, right handed bat, comes to the crease

12.3 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, out Caught by Kuldeep Yadav!! The matchup card works right for DC! Lalit was on primarily due to the two left-handers batting in tandem, neither of whom are really that efficient against off spin. He kept plugging away on a length, hoping for one of the duo to go across the line on this two-paced deck. Lewis is the one to walk into the trap, looking to pull across the line but the extra bounce does him in. Skews it straight up towards the mid-on region where Kuldeep is ready, having trekked backwards from mid-wicket. Lewis c Kuldeep Yadav b Lalit Yadav 5(13)

Lalit Yadav to Lewis, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

12.2 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, no run, quicker one, sliding in, Lewis makes a hint of room and punches, picks out extra cover

12.1 Lalit Yadav to Lewis, no run, speared in on middle and leg, punched wide of Yadav who gets across to stop the single

LSG: 104-2 after 14 overs

13.6 Nortje to de Kock, 1 run, on a good length outside off, de Kock heaves and gets it off the inside half, down to long-on

13.5 Nortje to Hooda, 1 run, short of a length well outside off, steered away down to third man

Shashank: De Kock is someone who is extremely underrated. On a given day he can single-handedly win a match in the toughest of conditions, but not be talked about much.

13.4 Nortje to de Kock, 1 run, widish low full toss, sliced away towards deep point

Pant seems in a bit of discomfort out there and the physio is out there to attend to him. Time for the magic spray to do its thing. Lengthy delay and the strategic timeout is taken. Been a pretty smooth chase this for Lucknow and they'll have to have a really bizarre phase of play to lose it from here. Delhi haven't been that bad with the ball but those 10-15 runs that they left out there with the bat is haunting them.

13.3 Nortje to de Kock, 2 runs, quite full and wide, jammed out to the left of deep point who gets around but fumbles a tad to allow the second run. The throw from Warner lands awkwardly in front of Pant and has hit the DC skipper on the thumb

13.2 Nortje to Hooda, 1 run, pacy and back of a length, tucked away down to fine leg

13.1 Nortje to de Kock, 1 run, wide yorker, stabbed away through the covers and Nortje ensures that the Free Hit doesn't cost a lot

13.1Nortje to de Kock, no ball, SIX, whoooooopsy, that's a 150kph beamer that's left de Kock jolted! He's somehow managed to get bat on this and all of Nortje's pace is used as it clears the ropes at third man. Fielder was up in the ring, so there was always a boundary opportunity. Looks like it slipped out of Nortje due to the dewy conditions

Anrich Nortje [1.0-0-19-0] is back into the attack

Sandeep Poddar: DC probably missed a trick by not starting with Nortje. With a low score on the board they needed to strike upfront and starting with Lalit probably played in LSG's hands allowing its openers to settle. Need a cluster of wickets to turn this around now. --- Here's one for a start as Lewis goes.

14.6 Thakur to de Kock, 1 run, back of a length outside off, flat-batted powerfully down to long-off

14.5 Thakur to de Kock, no run, more pace-off, hits the hard length and de Kock is a tad early into the cut shot. Inside edge and it nearly goes onto the stumps

14.4 Thakur to de Kock, no run, slower ball, well wide and de Kock toe-ends the back foot punch to extra cover

14.3 Thakur to de Kock, FOUR, the paddle scoop and de Kock executes it comfortably. Knew that Thakur wouldn't land it full, would be on that good length and wider, so he moves across and ensures that he doesn't go too early into the shot. Clears the infield with ease

14.2 Thakur to de Kock, 2 runs, another slower ball, on a good length and it's flat-batted powerfully past the bowler. Down the ground and long-off gets around

14.1 Thakur to de Kock, no run, back of a length off-cutter around leg stump, de Kock misses the flick and gets struck on the pad

Shardul Thakur [1.0-0-7-0] is back into the attack

15.6 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, out Caught by Sarfaraz Khan!! Excellent catch! Was dipping on Sarfaraz who timed his dive forward well to take a sharp catch at short third man. Credit to Kuldeep too, didn't get intimidated by the boundaries and had the courage to toss this one up, loopy leg break, inviting de Kock to go for the big shot and the South African couldn't resist. Tried to go inside out over cover, only to get a thick outside edge. A terrific innings nevertheless, he's put Lucknow on the doorsteps of victory. de Kock c Sarfaraz Khan b Kuldeep Yadav 80(52) [4s-9 6s-2]

Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Sarthak: Unfortunate start for Nortje! Let's hope he'll come back with a fiery spell next time.

15.5 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, FOUR, does it again, this time off the back foot. Shortish and wider, de Kock hangs back and flat-bats it down the ground. Hit straight and hit with a lot of power

15.4 Kuldeep Yadav to de Kock, FOUR, lovely shot! A slight shimmy down early to put Kuldeep off and then lofts cleanly back over the bowler's head. The key here was how straight he hit this, giving long-on and long-off no chance

15.3 Kuldeep Yadav to Hooda, 1 run, quick and straight, pulled down to long-on. Free Hit doesn't cost much

Kuldeep Yadav [3.0-0-22-1] is back into the attack

Some confusion regarding the strike rotation and DC also are wondering whom to use to fill the over.

15.3 Nortje to Hooda, no ball, forgettable end to a forgettable night for Nortje! Another high full toss, Hooda looks to help it over extra cover but miscues it completely. Taken by Shaw but that won't count. Waist-high no-ball and Nortje's work is done, second beamer and although this one wasn't potentially dangerous, it's a subjective call and the umps have felt that it was

Check for a possible waist-high full toss. Hooda has been caught at extra cover but that is unlikely to count. The umps have a chat and decide to send this upstairs. If this is a no-ball, Nortje might be taken off the attack as it shall be his second beamer. Oh yes, it does seem like a clear no-ball and Nortje is off the attack.

15.2 Nortje to Hooda, no run, short of a length, Hooda makes room and slashes but doesn't connect

15.1 Nortje to de Kock, 1 run, pitched up with a lot of width, de Kock slices the drive to the right of deep point

131-3 after 18 overs

17.6 Thakur to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, excellent delivery to finish a terrific over from Shardul! Lands it on a near-yorker length, squeezed away down to long-off. Just five runs off the over!

17.5 Thakur to Krunal Pandya, 2 runs, Krunal tries to heave this for a boundary but it's a well-disguised slower ball on a good length, miscue that lands safe between long-on and deep mid-wicket. A couple more to the total

17.4 Thakur to Krunal Pandya, no run, brilliant stuff! Wide yorker, pin-point accuracy and Krunal can't do much, except dig it back towards Shardul. 22 runs | 14 balls now! Lucknow need a boundary sooner than later

Quite dewy out there and the bowler's landing area has got a bit slippery. Some sawdust being applied.

17.3 Thakur to Hooda, 1 run, this is turning out to be a fine over from Shardul, nailing the yorkers, wide line this and it's stabbed away through point. Just a single

17.2 Thakur to Krunal Pandya, 1 run, pitched right up, dug out to mid-wicket and they pinch a risky single. Direct hit could have been close for Krunal

17.1 Thakur to Krunal Pandya, no run, swing and a miss! Krunal was probably expecting a slower one, Shardul goes pace-on, very full and wide, angling further away. Swing and a miss

Shardul Thakur [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

Just four runs off that Mustafizur over. 24 runs | 18 balls is the equation now. Quite comfortable of course, unless Lucknow press the panic button. Delhi will want to squeeze the boundaries away and hope for a bad shot or two. Crucial over this, because the Fizz should be bowling the next over. If Shardul can get it right in these six deliveries, there could be some life in this game.
